Nominate a Driver Today
1 in 10 of professional truck drivers are military Veterans—thank you for recognizing their world-class talent.
We encourage you to start the application process at least one week before the closing date as nominations require written testimonials for the nominators as well as essay questions from the nominees, which can take time to complete.
What can I expect to see in the nomination form?
Nominations will be completed over four sections: 1) Nominator information 2) Nominee information 3) Essays and 4) Attachments (nominator's testimonial (required); nominee's MVR (required); DD214 (strongly recommended); and additional letters of recommendation (optional)).
How many nominations can I make?
Up to 5 drivers can be nominated per company or organization. Both carriers and CDL training schools are encouraged to nominate drivers they believe are deserving of the award.
When will I hear back about my nominee(s)?
A press release will be issued on August 1, 2024 naming the semi-finalists moving forward in the competition. After the release, the Fastport team will reach out to the nominator and nominee (using the contact information provided in the nomination form) about further details and next steps.
Can I edit my nomination after I submit?
Yes. Once you have submitted your nomination, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details you provided and an ability to edit your response. You may edit any and all of your nominations until the nomination close date with no impact on scoring.
