An independent Selection Committee, including representatives from motor carriers, driver training schools, suppliers and trade associations, will select finalists and the ultimate winner from among all eligible nominees. All members take into account the essay questions provided in the nomination packet, work record, military service record, non-job related activities such as community service, availability for loads, on-time delivery, highway safety performance, and customer relations.
